My phone is broken. And it sucks. I feel lame because I am sooooo attached to my phone, but I mean really? How many of us could really go a few regular days without missing our connection to the world? This world is pretty much completely dependent on technology, so you can't really be frustrated when your friend is dying without her phone. For example, how many of us can even go to the store without using some sort of electrical device? Street lights, cash registers, your phone because someone is guaranteed to call and say "Don't forget milk!" or "Can you buy some ice cream?" (<---- that would be me haha). It's not really a bad thing to be somewhat reliant on technology, just to much of a good thing is too much of a good thing. Technology makes every day life so much easier, so what we do with our extra time is the important part. If we're wasting our extra time on selfish and stupid things, that isn't technology's fault. It's ours. We are the ones in control of our own lives. We may feel like technology rules, and that someday computers will take over the world. But that's only if we let that happen. We have the power to shut the TV off, to put down our phones (in my case, drop it in soda) and take away our kids video games. It drives me crazy to hear parents getting all mad at some kid who can't get there nose out of their phones, when they are pacifying their three year old with their Ipad. Get off your butt and do something, or don't be upset when your kid grows up to not be able to handle real world problems because they spent all their time being shut up by angry birds. Life happens, and you can't fix it with a phone. Life happens, so we need that connection to other people, or the chance to express ourselves to the world. Life happens, so we need to think about what is the better decision, what is going to have the better consequences?

Palm trees in central Texas
Need I say more? I am sure you all know that palm trees are native to the coastal area, so when I am driving through Houston and see big huge palm trees, it frustrates me. It's like having a pool in Minnesota. Looks nice, but doesn't fit. Or wearing a tiara with old jeans and a polo. I need to make a list of my pet peeves. I am sure you would like to spend your precious time reading a 10,000,000,000 item list of things that annoy me to no end.
