Palm trees in central Texas

Need I say more? I am sure you all know that palm trees are native to the coastal area, so when I am driving through Houston and see big huge palm trees, it frustrates me. It's like having a pool in Minnesota. Looks nice, but doesn't fit. Or wearing a tiara with old jeans and a polo. I need to make a list of my pet peeves. I am sure you would like to spend your precious time reading a 10,000,000,000 item list of things that annoy me to no end.
